Uplighting “Aesthetic” Illumination
We’ve mastered the process of making the height and beauty of your gardens come to life! Our uplighting units are carefully hidden in shrubbery or plant beds. If used in grass areas, we go to the added effort of installing flush mounted units (similar to underwater fixtures) so our work is unnoticeable. When you arrive home at night, you should not see fixtures or how we have created the illumination, but just the “Magic of Moonlight”.

Downlighting “Moonshadow” Illumination
All of our downlighting units are heavily shielded, so from the normal viewing angles, you do not see the glare of looking into the fixtures. We have the ability to create the perfect nighttime ambiance with a mixture of the best type and usage of light. The artistic width and length of your gardens are expressed through our creation of natural shadows, a technique we call “Moonshadows”. We use all different sizes of units depending on the type of trees and different expected illumination effects. The same brightness should radiate throughout your gardens every night like the full moon.

Mercury Vapor Gas Discharge Versus Light Emitting Diode (LED) Illumination
JWLI supports “green” energy and the newest LED technology. Mercury vapor gas discharge units have long been the predominate and preferred type of illumination due to the natural “Moonlight” color. Advances in LED technology can now reproduce the same effect with regards to intensity at a substantially lower energy cost. Additionally, mercury vapor lamps lasting 24,000 hours versus LED 50,000 hour life lamps, give our clientele the best long-term options available.
